What this site collects
No account, no form, no email address — four measurement surfaces in total, all of them named below.
What is collected
4 surfaces- Google Analytics 4
- Page views and standard traffic measurement, loaded asynchronously from Google. It sets its own cookies and records the usual: pages visited, approximate location from IP, device and browser, and where you arrived from. We use it to see which records people actually open. We do not send it your name, your email or anything you typed — the search box runs entirely in your browser against a static index and nothing you type there leaves the page.
- Outbound click counting
- Buy buttons pass through our own /go/ path before landing on the merchant. That hop writes one data point to Cloudflare’s Workers Analytics Engine: which record was clicked, the destination host, the referring page, the country Cloudflare assigns to the request, and the dataset version. No cookie is set, no identifier is created, and nothing joins one click to another.
- Anonymous page-event counting
- A handful of named events are counted on our own /e/ path: whether a page’s conclusion was scrolled to, whether the evidence panel behind it was opened, and which control an outbound click came from. Each one writes a single row to the same Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine dataset as the click counter above — the event’s name, the record’s slug, which form of page it was, which control fired it, the candidate product it points at, and the country Cloudflare assigns to the request. No cookie, no identifier, no referrer, no IP address, no session and no way to connect two events to the same person. The list of events is closed and lives in the source, and every page renders and works exactly the same with the requests blocked.
- Cloudflare, as infrastructure
- The site is served by Cloudflare Pages and the product photographs come from https://cdn.dupedex.com. Cloudflare processes requests and keeps standard security and performance logs on its own terms as our hosting provider.
What is not here
5 items- No accounts. There is nothing to register for, and no part of the site is gated.
- No forms of any kind. Nothing you could type into this site is transmitted anywhere.
- No newsletter and no notifications. We deliberately do not collect email addresses; the change feed is the notification mechanism.
- No advertising network, no retargeting pixel, no social embeds, no comment platform, no session recording, no heatmaps.
- No data sold, rented or shared. There is nothing here worth selling and no arrangement to sell it.
This is not a promise about the future so much as a description of the architecture: the site is static files with one redirect function. There is no database to put your data in.
Turning it off
- Browser-level blocking works: nothing on this site depends on analytics, and every page renders the same with all of it blocked.
- A merchant link works the same if you copy the destination from the record’s evidence link and skip our /go/ hop entirely.
- Google’s own opt-out browser add-on stops GA4 collection across every site that uses it, including this one.
This release serves a United States audience and shows no consent banner. If and when the traffic makes one legally necessary, one appears and this page changes with it — announced on the change feed like everything else.
